Morgan Wallen
I know what you’re thinking: A Morgan Wallen fan? This can't be good.
If I Know Me (2018)
Absolutely every song on this record qualifies as a banger. I think much of Wallen’s success as an artist can be attributed to the catchy but simple tracks he put out on this record. They did a fantastic job of catching people’s attention and establishing him as a respectable upcoming country star. I often find myself reminiscing about the love (and heartbreak) songs on If I Know Me..
The Dangerous Double Album (2021)
A dangerously good album. The double album (with two disks) was the beginning of his 30+ track albums. Dangerous was one of the first long albums I’ve listened to (as a country-loving preteen) that did not bore me out of my mind. Both sonically and lyrically, there was an abundance of variety, which makes the album incredibly fun to listen to. It never tires, and there truly is something for everyone.
One Thing At A Time (2023)
I knew One Thing At A Time was going to be good from all of the buildup to the album. The pre-release PR was some of the most he had ever done for an album. Turns out the wait was worth it. One Thing At A Time is a no-skip album. Wallen plays around with sound, features, and his voice in new ways for the first time while simultaneously offering some of the catchiest tracks he’s ever made.
