SAYA

I’ve had this album presaved for months. Saya Gray was one of my best finds in 2024. Many of her previous singles, as well as her first album QWERTY II proved she was making her own way in indie. An almost experimental sound and Billie Eilish-like vocals, Saya is special. All three singles pre-released off SAYA were excellent - maybe too much so. They set my expectations perhaps too high for this album, and I felt as though it fell slightly short. It showcaes some intricate and interesting tracks, but I believe she can do better - though I loved the artwork for this album. She has a very unique artistic style that transcends just her music. Still, her best is yet to come and I’m excited to hear it.
