Even in Arcadia

No matter how hard I try, I can’t figure Sleep Token out. I’m starting to think thats the point. One track points you in the direction of one genre, then the next track points you in a completely new direction. Some are hits (Look To Windward) and some are big misses (Past Self). Overall, I wish that they would stick to the harder stuff and stay away from the pop-rap. Tracks like Caramel are good but pushing the limit of how much emo-pop-style singing I’m willing to accept in a metal song. Infinite Baths is a strong last track. Overall, the pop-rap tracks are just too distracting for me to listen to the album in its entirety. That said, the harder, better tracks I will definitely be listening to as singles.
